Bravo, Ferrari! Bravo, Alonso!

Today, Alonso brought back the championship for Ferrari at Monza, one of the most important tracks in Formula 1. Ferrari always occupies the dominating position in Monza. But the last time they got the champion was at 2006. Michale Schumacher got the first position here and declared his decision of retiring after the race.

In yesterday’s qualifying race, Alonso got Ferrari’s first pole position in this season. His performance told us Ferrari was also the dominator of Monza. And today, the red flag around the track showed Ferrari would gain all of the support at their home field.

The start of Alonso was not perfect enough, he was surpassed by Jenson Button before the first turn.  But the good news was that Lewis Hamilton broke his car when he tried to exceed Massa. The silver car led 36 laps in the race until he ducked into the pit. As  one of the top driver, Alonso is no doubt the person who can push his car to its utmost limit. He ran a very fast lap and ducked into the pit at next lap. With the efficient work of his team, he saved 0.8 seconds in the pit stop and succeed in surpassing Button. He kept the position until the race finished.

After this perfect grand prix, there are five race left in this season. I hope Ferrari will preserve their battle effectiveness and get better position in both driver’s and team’s competition.
