Let Alexa monitor your site

Alexa is a famous traffic analytics site, and I want to let it monitor my site to get a view of my site’s traffic metrics. How can I go about that?

It’s very simple to accomplish it. first of all, I created a file named “robots.txt” and placed it at the top level of my site. Secondary, visit http://www.alexa.com/help/webmasters, submit your site url at the bottom of the page. Alexa would tell you that their robots will visit your site in the coming few days. That’s all. Easy enough, Aha.

StatCounter: A free invisible site counter

I used to use sitemeter as web counter when a use blogger. But only the fee account let me to use the invisible counter. I don’t like logo of the sitemeter and I don’t want to show it in my new site any more. So I searched in google and found the solution I want. StatCounter, a free invisible site counter. After signing up a new account, I followed instruction of the wizard and installed a plugin into my new wordpress site. It’s perfect, and it is what a want. awesome!
