Alexa is a famous traffic analytics site, and I want to let it monitor my site to get a view of my site’s traffic metrics. How can I go about that?
It’s very simple to accomplish it. first of all, I created a file named “robots.txt” and placed it at the top level of my site. Secondary, visit http://www.alexa.com/help/webmasters, submit your site url at the bottom of the page. Alexa would tell you that their robots will visit your site in the coming few days. That’s all.
